CCTV Surveys and Blockages
CCTV Surveys and Blockages
CCTV AND HOUSE PURCHASE SURVEYS, AIR AND WATER TESTING
CCTV Surveys involve a camera being entered into the pipe work and the image is seen on a monitor, this is by far the most efficient and cost effective way of identifying faults and determining the correct type of repair for the fault identified. All our systems have the capability to record the images on to a compact disc.
CCTV surveys are commonly used as a tool to check the drainage serving a property prior to purchase, this way any faults are highlighted and the cost of repair is negotiated with the Vendor.
We also offer a consultancy service to assist you if you are not convinced the repairs being recommended to you are necessary, we could and would attend site on your behalf but a visit would be charge at our standard rate however, if you obtain a recording of the faults a copy could be sent to us electronically or through the post. We would review the recording and provide an unbiased opinion as to whether or not the repairs are required, this way the costs are kept down.
Air and water tests are carried out in the same way, the drain is bunged off and put under pressure using air or water, if the pressure level should drop the drain has a leak. It would then be necessary to determine the cause pf the leak which in most cases would be via a CCTV survey.
HIGH PRESSURE WATER JETTING
To help with stubborn blockages, cleaning, de-scaling and root cutting, we have jetting units with different pressure outputs flow rates to accommodate your needs more efficiently.
Our jetting units operate between 2000-10000 psi which in the wrong hands can be dangerous, to minimise the risk all of our operators are fully trained and certificated in how to operate the jetting units, further to this they are also trained to cater for public safety within the working zone.
BLOCKED DRAINS, SINKS AND GULLIES
Most blockages are cleared within the first half an hour using manually operated tools, in some cases it is necessary to use mechanical aids such as High Pressure Water Jetting but this is mostly reserved for tree root and scale removal but it is a very efficient tool for cleaning pipe work.
